Stop press! VSO urgently seeks European volunteers for 3-month placements in Pakistan starting January 2013 at the latest. Placements are based in Islamabad with VSO’s partner organisations that provide services for poor people. You must have skills and experience in one of the following areas: youth/community work, gender inequality, climate change adaptation, disaster management, first aid or IT. Find out more here.
For our EU Aid Volunteers programme, VSO currently needs experienced managers with a healthcare background, agricultural specialists and nurses for placements in Bangladesh and South Sudan.
Opportunities are for up to two years and we are looking for qualified professionals with at least three to five years' post-qualification experience. Volunteers must be citizens of an EU member state to take part in this particular programme. You’ll need to be ready to start your placement by February 2013.
